AK-REC basketball is all about the love and passion for the game of basketball. Where basketball is fun and players go home satisfied every night.
It has been created by ballers for ballers. Its mission is to continuously work towards promoting the game of basketball across the greater Montreal area as it has become more than just a recreational pastime.
The gyms where AK-REC leagues take place are virtual basketball havens and sanctuaries for all the best players in the city to congregate and socialize on a regular basis. Their strong dedication to the game of basketball brings them together at least once a week, all under one roof.
From beginner level players to highly advanced players, the leagues cater to all types of ballers, each league is tiered accordingly to assure the highest level of competitiveness possible.
AK-REC is all about the players, starting out with 8 teams as just a lowly community house league it has grown to be one of the most highly revered basketball leagues in Montreal with over 130 teams competing day in and day out across the city, year round.
